报告人简介：

谭明教授于1997年获得德国明斯特大学博士学位，并在内布拉斯加大学林肯分校和辛辛那提儿童医院从事了两站博士后研究工作。2002年，谭明教授留任辛辛那提儿童医院，并从事人源诺如病毒的生物学研究工作。谭明教授是诺如病毒研究领域内的著名专家，发表论文96篇。他在诺如病毒P颗粒表达、纯化平台的建设，不同基因型病毒疫苗的开发和小动物模型的建立等方面做了很多工作。

报告简介：

 Human norovirus is one of important foodborne pathogens in the world leading to heavy economic burden. Due to immature culture system in vitro, no vaccine or antivirus drugs was available so far. In this presentation, the structure of the protruding domain was studied. The interaction between virus and receptor of host was investigated to uncover the mechanisms of infection and recognition. Based on those data, vaccine candidate was developed based on the protruding domain of capsid protein.
